Spring 2027 HMN 303 Humanities in Action: City Stories with Tori Cruz-Falk & Dr. Rosie Moosnick
Registration opens soon for HMN 300:Humanities in Action which will center on City Stories: Empathy at Work in the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government for the Spring 2027 semester. Taught by Tori Cruz-Falk (LFUCG) and Dr. Rosie Moosnick (Sociology), this class will provide hands-on experience in humanities and civic engagement, focused on empathy in the context of our most important, yet often unseen, city workers. Students will be asked to conduct interviews, dive into oral histories, and present in front of our own councilmembers while discovering what really makes a local government run.
This class is open to all, and will count for the Lewis Honors College experiential credit.
