Where can I stay?
We have negotiated prices with 21C Hotel and Hilton Downtown. Rooms can be reserved directly through the hotel, using the links in the Hotel Page
How much does it cost to attend?
Nothing! All our scheduled alumni events are free. We want to see as many of our alums as possible! Please note that you will be responsible for your own travel and accommodation costs.
Can I bring my spouse/partner?
Spouses and partners are welcome—just be sure to include them on your registration form.
Can I bring my children?
We understand that childcare arrangements can be complicated, especially if you have babies or younger children. While you are welcome to bring your children, please bear in mind that scheduled events may not be “child-friendly.” Unfortunately, we are not able to provide childcare facilities at any of the events. Should you wish to bring a minor, you will be responsible for that minor at all times, and you will be asked to sign a waiver at the time of registration. Please also include minors on your registration form. Also note that alcohol will be available (to over-21s) at two of our events: the Keeneland tailgate and the Ouita Michel catered event.
Will there be transport available to any of the events?
Unfortunately, not. We are unable to provide transport to any of the events, either on or off campus.
Can I get together with just my cohort?
Absolutely! While we have not scheduled any cohort-specific events, we have built space into the itinerary for you to arrange your own cohort-specific gatherings.
Who else will be there?
Alumni, current fellows, current board members, and current staff, along with Gaines faculty, former directors, former administrators, former board members, and friends of Gaines are invited to join us at the Bale Boone Symposium with Ebony Patterson, and at the post-event reception.
Alumni, current fellows, current board members, and current staff are invited to all other scheduled events.
